AI Automation Agency for Hotels & Hospitality in Dubai and the UAE
An AI automation agency for hotels designs, builds and runs the AI agents and automations a property uses to answer calls and messages, resolve guest requests and move information between its systems, and keeps refining them after launch. DigitLab AI is that agency for luxury hotels and resorts in Dubai and the UAE: we scope each engagement around the property’s own guest journey and service standards, build and integrate the agents with the PMS, CRM and booking systems already in place, then monitor and refine them with the operations team.
What we build
AI agents: voice, WhatsApp and web chat
Agents that answer the property’s phone in its own voice, reply to guests on WhatsApp, and handle web chat before and during a stay. Each one identifies what the guest needs, answers from the property’s knowledge base or a PMS lookup, books or routes the request, and hands over to a human host under rules the property sets. The AI agents page lists the use cases by department.
Generative AI for content and knowledge
Guest communications drafted in the property’s brand voice, multilingual versions configured per property, and knowledge assistants that let staff ask questions of SOPs, menus and policies instead of searching binders. Drafts pass through human review before anything reaches a guest. Details on the generative AI for content and knowledge page.
Workflow automation
Requests, tickets and confirmations that move between systems without someone retyping them: a guest’s WhatsApp message becomes a housekeeping ticket, a late check-out request updates the PMS and notifies the floor, a lost-item report reaches the right desk with the room and dates attached. Built on workflow automation tooling and connected through the property’s existing APIs.
Responsible AI governance
Every agent ships with escalation rules, an audit trail of what it said and did, a data-handling review before go-live, and named ownership on the property side. We help the property decide what the AI may handle alone, what needs approval, and how guests are told they are speaking with an assistant.
AI agent use cases in a hotel
- Answering the reservations line at night, so calls that used to ring out are answered, and logging the enquiry or booking to the PMS.
- Taking a spa or restaurant reservation over WhatsApp, checking availability, confirming, and attaching it to the guest’s profile.
- Arranging an airport transfer from a pre-arrival message and passing the flight details to the concierge desk.
- Turning a room service or housekeeping request into a ticket for the right team, with the room number and requested time attached.
- Handling late check-out and early check-in requests within the rules the front office sets, and escalating when a request falls outside them.
- Recognizing a returning guest and surfacing their recorded preferences to staff before arrival.
- Acknowledging a complaint in the property’s tone, logging it, and alerting the duty manager straight away.
How an engagement runs
Audit and map. We start with how the property handles calls, messages and requests today: which lines ring out, which requests get retyped from one system into another, where guests wait for an answer. We map the guest journey touchpoints, the PMS data and the operational workflows, and agree on the first agent to build and the rules it will work under.
Build and integrate. We build the agent, load it with the property’s knowledge (room types, outlets, policies, tone), connect it to the PMS, CRM and communication channels through their APIs, and test it against real scenarios with the department heads before it speaks to a guest.
Monitor and refine. Once live, the agent runs with monitoring and human-in-the-loop escalation. We review transcripts and outcomes with the operations team on a regular cycle, tighten the knowledge base and the rules, and extend the agent to the next set of requests when the property is ready.
Integrations
We integrate with the property’s existing PMS, CRS and booking systems through their APIs, scoped and tested per property, as well as the CRM, telephony and WhatsApp Business API. Nothing is replaced; the agents sit on top of the existing stack and read from and write to it through interfaces the property controls.
Where a system has no usable API, we say so during the audit and design around it, for example by routing a request to a staff inbox or ticketing queue rather than pretending the integration exists.
How results are measured
We do not promise figures before we have seen a property’s data, and we do not publish invented ones. What we do is agree with the property, before launch, which measures are reported — calls answered and when, requests resolved without staff, reply time per channel, escalations and their reasons — and review them together.
Those numbers belong to the property. They are reviewed together during the monitor-and-refine cycle and are the basis for deciding what the agent takes on next.
Beyond hospitality
Hospitality is where we spend most of our time, and the guest-facing detail on this site reflects that. The same approach — audit the workflow, build the agent, connect it to the systems already in place, keep a person in the loop — carries into manufacturing, finance, retail, healthcare and logistics, where the conversations are with customers, suppliers and patients rather than guests.
Frequently asked questions
Is DigitLab AI an agency or a software product?
An agency. We build each agent around the property’s own knowledge, tone, rules and systems, run it with the operations team, and stay accountable for how it performs. There is no off-the-shelf product to sign up to; the engagement starts with an audit of how the property works today.
Does a hotel need to replace its PMS or phone system to use DigitLab AI?
No. The agents sit on top of the systems the property already runs and read from and write to them through interfaces the property controls; nothing is replaced. If a system cannot be connected, we design a workaround during the audit rather than asking the property to change platforms.
How long does it take to deploy an AI agent in a hotel?
It depends on how many channels and systems are in scope. A single voice or WhatsApp agent with one PMS integration is the natural starting point, and we give the property a dated plan after the audit rather than a generic timeline.
Does an AI agent replace a hotel’s front-office staff?
It takes the repetitive, high-volume conversations and the overnight calls, and it escalates anything sensitive, unusual or VIP-related to a person with the context attached. The aim is that staff spend their time on the guests in front of them.
What happens to guest data when a hotel uses DigitLab AI agents?
Guest data stays in the property’s systems, and the agent reads and writes through APIs under the property’s access controls. Data handling, retention and model-provider terms are agreed and documented per property and reviewed with the property before go-live.
